I had the most amazing day at Universal Studios in L.A, I strongly recommend it to everybody in any age. So much astonishing things to see, so much fun things to do and so much yummie food and sweets to try. You’ll find it on 100 Universal City Plaza and is also close to fun areas such as Hollywood and Beverly Hills. The rides and attractions are so incredible, they are the holy masters on special effects for sure. My favorites was Jurassic Park’s flum rider (you got soaking wet, see picture 4) and Transformer’s 3D ride (picture 3)!

Farmers market

First day in L.A it happend to be Farmers Market (on Saturdays) – which was so awesome! Just a whole market where farmers sell their fruit, vegetables, spices and a lot more, in the middle of Santa Monica. I have never seen so big fruits and vegetables in my life! And we tried a delicious organic pizza with figs, goat cheese and bacon. A weird combo but it actually worked well together!

Our stop in Santa Barbara was just over the day, but it was a good one. We had some fish lunch at the pier and walked on the beach with some pressed juice. Really peaceful and just pure beauty. Now back on the road towards L.A!

Union Square

Running around in Union Square doing some shopping! There is a lot of stores here, a little bit of everything. I found 4 tops from Urban Outfitters vintage (adore their vintage boutiques abroad!) and 1 pair of shoes from Steve Madden.

It is pretty crowdy down there, so make sure that you’re not in a hurry when shopping there. They have everything from Forever 21, Victoria’s Secret, Express, Uniqlo and Macy’s etc. And as a food lover that I am, we just had to check out some local food markets. They had watermelons as big as a basketball for only 4,99 dollars and B&J with Cotton Candy!

After a lovely lunch in Sausalito, we took a ferrie back to downtown San Fran. On the second picture you can see the amazing fog raising over the mountains, always keeping the city in great fog. We also passed the old prison Island Alcatraz (last picture), which is no longer in use.

Lunch at Scoma’s

Surprised that the sun came out? So were we, when we crossed the Golden Gate with our bikes and arrived to the area Sausalito right by the water. It was like arriving to a different country and climate, it was so warm and sunny. We had lunch at the restaurant Scoma’s, a cute blue sea house on the water. Not to pricy and the food was so freakin’ awesome! I had scampi in a garlic and vegetable sauce and J had tuna sashimi, it was to die for…
